Background Hans Rosling and his Gapminder team have done excellent work in collecting and presenting data on developments in world health, country by country, over many years.

Questions How has life expectancy changed over time? How do the patterns differ by countries? How good are the data?

Structure Life expectancy estimates for 187 countries from 1800 to 2016. There are also forecasts up to 2100 giving 301 data points per country in all.
