Chapter 10 CLASSIFICATION ACCURACY

Cognitive diagnostic assessments can aid teachers in creating targeted interventions for individual students by offering in-depth insights into their knowledge and skills within a specific content area(Cui et al., 2012). Prior to provide such in-depth insights, we must validate the classification results produced by our model.

Please recall: in CDM, we estimate attribute profile or we classify students according to different attribute profile. Now we want to check how accurate is the classification.
