Random Forests Applied to Dengue in Singapore

In the above study, observed and predicted data were highly correlated and predicted risk levels in excellent agreement with case density (\(\kappa\) coefficient of more than 0.8).

Close to 90% of dengue clusters happen in high risk areas. The odds of forming clusters in high risk areas were higher than the risk in low risk areas.

More Random Forests Applied

During 2017, an average of 93% of large clusters were captured by about the top 10% of grids.
