0.1 Layout reference

This page lists out some of the text styles used in this book. It is as much a reference for me as it is a user guide! Note that the colored boxes won’t appear if you’ve downloaded this text in an e-book format (MOBI).

0.1.1 Highlight:

The highlight is used to emphasize important information, and generally break the text up a little.

0.1.2 Examples:

The pages contain many worked examples to show how to do various things. These are shown in shaded boxes.

0.1.3 Extra info:

The main page explanations are designed to include everything you need to know. However, some readers will be interested in extra background information, this is included in boxes like this one.

Occasionally, I’d like to show you things that it’s easier to show in a pop-out window rather than directly in this book.
