Protection against different problems
- Ecrypt sensitive data: Veracrypt (formerly Truecrypt, see Wikipedia)
- Never use the same password twice
- e.g. if one and the same password is stored in the database of 10 companies the probability increases that it will be leaked one day
- Use a password messenger that stores different passwords for each website
- Use 2-Factor Authentication
- Use end-to-end encryption is possible (e.g. right now - Dec 2018 - Facebook messenger does not have end-to-end encryption by default.. as far as I know)
- Descide about how much data you would like to share…
- Ideally use Tor Browser (Q: Why is the symbol an onion?)
