• Steps: 1. Write draft; 2. Get/give feedback on draft; 3. Rewrite draft; 4. Second round of feedback; 5. Rewrite draft

• The API review should follow API should include (follow the example published online)

  • Provided services/data: What data/service is provided by the API?
  • Prerequisites: What are the prerequisites to access the API (authentication)?
  • Simple API call: What does a simple API call look like?
  • API access: How can we access the API from R (httr + other packages)?
  • Social science examples: Are there social science research examples using the API?

• Important: If you use others’ material you need to cite it!!!

• Citations: Add a .bib file and cite accordingly
