1.3 Why study DJUNC?

After completing DJUNC, you will be able to⁵:

Tell Dad jokes with confidence;
Have a body of Dad jokes from which to draw;
Email Dad jokes to your friends;
Become the life of any party or gathering;
Have nationally recognised qualification that could lead you into any room of your own house!

DJUNC is not just for Dads-to-be; anyone can benefit from studying DJUNC (though see Fig. 2.2).

Jesus said to John: “Come forth and you will have eternal life.”

But John came fifth… and won a toaster.
