Summary point

The most important point in this lecture is understanding the need to know the context of a problem before you think about analysing the data.

We firstly need to ensure that we have a question that we want to answer. Plotting data in an effective way can then tell you something towards answering that question, or at least give you a good starting point for your analyses.
