Before each lecture

Before coming along to the lecture, please read through the corresponding lecture notes. For example, before we meet for lecture 1, please read through the material under section ‘Lecture 1’. You should expect to spend around 1 hour reading the material.

At the end of each section, you will notice there is some recommended additional reading. You are not required to read this material, but it’s there to help you. You can find copies of the referenced books on Moodle (or in the library if you prefer).
