Connections with other courses

We will use R as our programming language. We assume that you will be taking Introduction to statistical programming in R and Python. This course will introduce you to R and Python.

We also assume that you will also be taking Statistical Inference (Level M) and Probability (Level M). You will see some similarties between some of the concepts you learn from these course and this one. We will also share tutorial times and groups with these two courses throughout the semester.
