Preface

This document contains the course notes for Applied Bayesian Modeling and Prediction (STAT 768) at Kansas State University. During the semester we will cover the basics such as the Bayesian model development, implementation, checking, and inference/prediction. We will focus on formulating and implementing bespoke Bayesian models that are tailored to answer scientific questions or applied problems ranging from environmental management to finance.
