Today we will discuss some basics in the use of R. This statistical software is widely used and is ideal for data analysis, data visualization and allows users to create professional documents to share their work. In this short skills pack, I’ll guide you through the basics related to the following:

1. Reading in a dataset,
2. Saving a dataset in a .csv file.
3. Obtaining numerical summaries of data
4. Visualizing data
5. Conducting t-tests, ANOVA, and simple linear regression
