4.19 X-Exercise: Twitter’s REST API

In this exercise we’ll have a closer look at some of the Schweizer Bundesräte. As it happens not all of them have a personal Twitter account. We’ll have a closer look at J N Schneider-Ammann, Alain Berset and Ignazio Cassis.

1. We start by extracting some information from the user profiles. How many followers and friends do the three politicians have? And who has the most followers?
2. Download the 100 most recent tweets for all three accounts. What are the most common hashtags that the politicians used?
3. Pick a person that interests you and who has a twitter account (e.g. Beyonce ;-)). Answer questions 1. and 2. for that person.
