The Annotated Bibliography
Please prepare an annotated bibliography for five (5) of the sources you
will be using in your final Literature Review. The online resource, How to
Prepare an Annotated Bibliography, provides a lot of information about
approaching the annotated bibliography. You can access the resource at
http://guides.library.cornell.edu/content.php?pid=448160&sid=3672381 The
following is the definition of annotated bibliography from the guide: An
annotated bibliography is a list of citations to books, articles and other
resources. Each citation is followed by a brief (usually about 150 words)
descriptive and evaluative paragraph: the annotation. The purpose of the
annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality
of the sources cited. In other words, each annotation should briefly
describe the source and show how it is relevant to your research topic. The
annotation should also explain how you plan to incorporate the source into
your paper.
