A.6 Battery data

This data set compares the lifetime of Ultracell (i.e., ALDI brand) and Energizer batteries under three different usages. There are three data sets, but the most useful is the second (Fig. A.6). In this data set, the four variables are:

1. Brand: The brand of battery, either Energizer or Ultracell.
2. Voltage: The voltage that the battery has drained to.
3. Time: The time taken for the battery to drain to the specified voltage, in minutes.
4. Battery: the ID of the battery (nine of each brand).

The data were collected by an independent company for ALDI stores. The data are useful for drawing boxplots (\(t\)-tests and hypothesis testing).
