4.10 Summative activity: Montana YRBS
The Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) was established by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to help monitor the prevalence of behaviors that not only influence youth health, but also put youth at risk for the most significant health and social problems that can occur during adolescence and adulthood.
The survey is given to a sample of high school students across the country each year. You may have taken the survey when you were in high school.
In this activity, we’ll look at the data from Montana to address the research question,
What proportion of Montana high school students have experienced online bullying?
