Chapter 2 Fundamentals of Linear Regression
On page 30, Hayes concluded the opening of this chapter thusly:
Linear regression is the foundation of most of the methods [Hayes described in his] book, so a solid understanding of the fundamentals of linear regression is essential. I assume that most readers have been exposed to linear regression in some form before discovering this book, and so some of the material will be review. Even so, I encourage everyone to read this chapter.
Since we’re adding Bayes and the tidyverse into the mix, walking through this chapter will be double important, for us.
