Why Make This Website?

I initially authored this website as a collation of topics that I would typically bring up during one-on-one TA sessions with students. However, I wasn’t sure that an in-person conversation was going to be that effective in ensuring that the student understood what I said.

So, for the sake of students’ learning, I have decided to pile all of my discussion material onto this website so that students can re-visit them as and when they wish!

Of course, none of the content on this website is examinable. However, the content may be of use to you during your final project, so I would encourage you to read up on it during your free time if possible. Rest assured: none of the content on this website is anything too advanced; after all, BS1009 is a beginner-friendly course!

…a collection of material that I would have probably discussed with students during my TA-ing sessions. Like I mentioned earlier, none of the content on this website is examinable!

I will update the website from time to time. While I may occasionally announce any new updates in the WhatsApp group chat, do be on the lookout if I forget nonetheless!

This website is not…

…a substitute for tutorials, live lectures, or online lectures. While I have put a considerable amount of effort to make this website appear as published as possible, crucial information mentioned during your lectures and / or your tutorials will not be included on this website. Hence, should you miss anything important because you weren’t there on the day of your tutorial or your lecture, that is 100% on you!
