Chapter 2 Forward Thinking about Student Experiences

Purpose of This Project
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Montclair State University swiftly shifted all classes to be fully virtual in Spring 2020, and a majority remained virtual in Fall 2020. This dramatic shift caused Montclair State some uncertainty of the different modalities of online classes and their impact on the students.

2.1 Data Summary Presentation

Overview of the Project
This project purpose is to gain insight on the student online and hybrid learning experiences in Fall 2020 as to:
1. Support faculty in planning and delivering instruction in Spring 2021
2. Support the greater campus community

The project’s collected data was interpreted and presented on a PowerPoint. This PowerPoint was presented to Montclair State’s administrators, and distributed to the entire University professional community.
