Chapter 4 The Witness (a.k.a. The Data)

Each group will go through a decision-making Task to decide from where to download a dataset. Different sources of data will be provided, and each group will discuss among them which data to use to during the workshop. In the task section (chapter 6), the websites from were to download data will be provided. As a preamble, you may find data related to:

1. Asthma (from the CDC)
2. Crime data (from the FBI)
3. Cancer data from the National Cancer Institute
4. the National Health and Examination Survey
5. Medicare data
6. Data from UNICEF (United Nations International Children Emergency Fund)
7. Data from social media websites and search engines
8. Data from Netflix, Amazon, Hulu
9. Among many other sources of data
